Time to spotlight the book banning. (I'm so tired of this shit.) They are (still) going after children's trans books in libraries, and like sports & healthcare, they don't want to stop there. But first, some book news.

• Public Libraries Face ‘Existential Threat,’ Putting Books, Information and People at Risk - Pen America has released a report on the effects of book banning on public libraries: Out of Circulation: Expanding Censorship in Public Libraries.

• Alabama libraries scramble to implement new state transgender book restrictions (restrictions that call for removing or relocating trans related children's books)

• Meanwhile, an Alabama State library board member targets transgender books already shelved as adult titles

• But, there's some good news: a librarian fired for refusing to censor LGBTQ+ books has won her lawsuit against her former employer, Saline County, Arkansas.
